The traditional performance models don’t include a lot of bicep curls.
Machines, Isolated Training, Body Building, Squat/Push/Pull, What Have You, can all be part of a functional training program.
Doing bear crawls and snake crawls isn’t indicative of being more functional.
My work outs are pretty much 90% squat,push, pull… I am 30 years old and it helps me paly with my kids. Don’t over generalize resistance training into a group of Body Builders who only do arms for 4 days a week.
