So I have been seriously training for years and am at a point where I train 6 days a week PPL high intensity and very high volume and spend hours in the gym till I feel absolutely beat. My physique is amazing right now but I want to lower volume (number of sets). I’m currently doing 60+ hard sets a week per muscle and obviously that isn’t sustainable. Is my body so used to this high volume that lowering volume will result in loss of muscle or lack of hypertrophy? I know minimum volume for most is very very low to maintain but can your body adapt to this insane amount and make minimum volume a lot higher?
